Hello!

My name is Cassandra Hovde, but most students know me as “Mrs. Hovde” or simply “Mrs. H.” I’m proud to be one of the elementary physical education teachers here at WPS. This will be my 10th year teaching PE—a career that continues to bring me so much joy! I currently teach kindergarten at Zimmerman and 1st–4th grade at Wahpeton Elementary.

I would describe myself as creative, energetic, and organized, with a true passion for making physical education fun and meaningful. My goal is to inspire students to live healthy, active lives while helping them build the skills to become physically literate for life.

A little about me personally—I’m married to my husband, Alex, and we have two pups: Harley, our yorkie, and Shiloh, our goldendoodle. When I’m not teaching, I love spending time bass fishing, deer hunting, relaxing at the lake, golfing, working out, shopping, and enjoying time with family and friends.
