What's Cookin' in the Kitchen

August is here and that means the first day of school is just around the corner. The Nutrition Service employees are hard at work getting the kitchen ready to welcome back all of our students. We are very excited to see their smiling faces coming through our breakfast and lunch lines. Students will see some of their favorite entrée choices back along with some new ones on the menu. The salad bar will offer a variety of fruits and vegetables daily. We want to encourage students to try new things and we hope they are as excited as we are. We are receiving the FFVP grant which allows the Zimmerman, Wahpeton Elementary, and the Wahpeton Middles School to receive additional fresh fruits and veggies three times a week.

One Important change for you to know is that the USDA will not continue to provide free meals to all students. Please take a moment to fill out the meal application. If you need assistance with this process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to help.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve your students. If you have any questions, please email or call me.
