About Mr. Haataja

Hello, my name is Mr. Haataja.

This is my 6th year at Wahpeton and my 14th year teaching.

I teach 1-5th music, 4-5th Choir, and 5th grade band.

I have a passion for kids and music, (especially band!) If you have an old instrument that you would like to donate, please reach out to me!!

 

Kids are the reason we are all here and why I do what I do. My wife, Marian, and I have 4 kids of our own: Eleanor, 5; Katherine, 3; Isabel, 2; and Theodore, 9 months! It is my goal to treat every student in my class with the same love and respect that I would want my own children treated.

December 16th-- Winter Concert in the WES Gym (Grades 1-3 9:30; Grade 4-5 1:30)

February 28th-- Young Musicians Festival in Enderlin (5th grade band and 4-5th grade choir)

May 12th-- Spring Concert in the WES Gym (Grades 1-3 1:30; Grade 4-5 9:30)
